What Scrubswire is

Scrubswire is a news media platform that reports on healthcare from the vantage point of the people who actually wear scrubs — nurses, residents, surgeons, OR techs, paramedics, and the rest of the allied-health workforce.

We cover the industry, the workplace, clinical practice, healthcare policy, the business of medicine, and the culture of the floor. Our model is the wire service: short, sourced dispatches and longer investigations, side by side, written for working clinicians scanning between cases.

What we are not

We are not a hospital trade publication. We do not write for biotech investors or hospital administrators. We are not a “wellness” brand and we do not run sponsored content disguised as journalism.

When we use the word “we,” we mean Scrubswire — the publication. We do not use “we” to mean “you and us” the way consumer apps often do. Scrubswire is a publication, not a friend.

Editorial independence

Scrubswire is published by ViralMomentum LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Editorial decisions are made by the newsroom, not by the company’s owners or any advertiser, sponsor, or third party.

How we are funded
