Cleveland Clinic begins phased rollout of self-scheduling for nursing shifts

The system says it will give 14,000 inpatient nurses control over up to 60% of their schedule by Q3.

Cleveland Clinic on Monday began the first phase of a system-wide self-scheduling rollout that the institution says will give 14,000 inpatient nurses direct control over up to 60% of their shift assignments by the third quarter.

The system is using a third-party scheduling platform layered onto its existing Workday HR backbone.
