Enrollment in CMS’s Acute Hospital Care at Home waiver has been flat for three straight quarters in counties that lack fixed wireless broadband, according to data released by CMS on Friday — a signal that the program’s growth ceiling may be set less by clinical demand than by infrastructure.

The waiver, expanded again in March, currently covers more than 350 hospitals.
