AdventHealth piloted a fingerprint-reader clock-in system across six operating-room floors in central Florida last quarter, replacing the existing badge-reader workflow. Time-card compliance rose to 99.4%, the system reported. Three OR techs and one nurse quit citing the policy.
The system says it will roll the program out to all 51 of its U.S. campuses by year-end.
